As of April 1st the Peel UPHNS will no longer offer drug consumption or drug checking services. The site will remain open until May 31st, during that time clients can access harm reduction supplies and receive education, referrals for health and social services, and meet with our on-site partners.
77% of deaths were male (i.e. over three in four)
65% of deaths were among 20 to 44 year-olds
The most common settings where the incidents occurred were private residences (67%), followed by outdoors (11%) While 79% of those who died were ‘housed’, 12% were unhoused individuals.
The remainder were unknown and or pending (9%)
Moyo will be providing safe consumption services at 10 Peel Centre Drive in Brampton with our clinical partners WellFort Community Health Centre.
We are open from 12:30 PM to 7:30 PM from Monday to Sunday, 7 days a week.
