Canada Day

On July 1^st, Moyo Health & Community Services acknowledges the importance of reflecting on Canada’s history of colonialism and residential schools.  We acknowledge that 10.3% of people living with HIV in Canada are Indigenous, and that Indigenous people are over-represented in new HIV infections in Canada.  

We reaffirm our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and anti-racism and we acknowledge our role in fostering dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation.  We will work to amplify voices and perspectives of those affected my historical injustices.  We commit to taking concrete actions that contribute to positive change.
