Are you a Brampton-based performer or musician that is part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community? Are you looking for support in finding and building community while also working on your skills? Look no further than the 2SLGBTQ+ Digital Residency for Musicians and Performers!
Moyo HCS has teamed up with the Arts, Culture, and Creative Industry Development Agency (ACCIDA) to support local artists in their artistic growth and community building. This five-week program will allow performers, including everyone from spoken word poets to drag artists to dancers and musicians, to find community while also being given opportunities to learn from other performers and develop their skillset. Selected artists will also receive a one-time artist fee of $750 for their participation and to support them in their creation of new artworks.
Want to learn more about this exciting opportunity? Check out the call for submissions here: https://bit.ly/ACCIDAResidency. Applications are due December 10, 2021. For accessibility support and any questions, please contact accida@brampton.ca.
